The Kidd Creek deposit north of Timmins is the largest known Archean volcanogenic massive sulfide (VMS) deposit currently in production. With total past production, reserves, and resources of Mt grading % Cu, % Zn, % Pb, and 77 g/t Ag, Kidd Creek also represents one of the largest and highest grade deposits of its kind. ARCHEAN Cu-Zn deposits are among the most important mineral deposit types in Canada. The Superior province of Canada contains nearly 80 percent of the known Archean Cu-Zn deposits in the world (about of deposits). Kirkland Lake is a town and municipality in Timiskaming District in Northeastern Ontario, population, according to Statistics Canada, was 7, The community name was based on a nearby lake which in turn was named after Winnifred Kirkland, a secretary of the Ontario Department of Mines in lake was named by surveyor Louis Rorke in Country: Canada. Elliot Lake is a city in Algoma District, Ontario, is north of Lake Huron, midway between the cities of Sudbury and Sault Ste. Marie in the Northern Ontario region. Once dubbed the "uranium capital of the world," Elliot Lake has since diversified to a hub for forest harvesting, mine reclamation expertise, exporting glass awards and telescoping equipment for y: Canada.

The Timmins West Mine (TWM) area includes the Timmins Deposit, Thunder Creek, and Highway properties for a total area of approximately square kilometers, or approximately 1, hectares. In to , the South Area saw development at the 60 m and 90 m levels from the shaft to the South Area on the two levels. S tonnes of development muck was sent to the mill at an average grade of g/t Au. In this area the rocks are attenuated, folded and structurally modified such that most of the primary features are absent. Property Geology. The River Valley property as mapped by PFN, includes three main mineralized areas with anomalous PGM-Cu-Ni sulphide mineralization: the Dana Lake Area, Lismer’s Ridge, and Azen Creek Area.
